I guess thats where we needed to be!!

Hola Familia!

We had a great week this week! So, on Tuesday, we had transfer meeting, and it goes from about 4 to 7:30 and its up in Irvine at the Lake Building. We moved apartments, we still live in Laguna Niguel, but now we have roommates! And that s the best! Our roommates are Elder Ortiz and Elder Wilkerson. Elder Ortiz goes home in 10 days and then we get Elder Wilkerson back as our companion! And we keep the big apartment. ;) Haha its sweet. Back to the story, normally after transfer meeting, Missionaries just go and move into their new apartment and clean and stuff like that. But we decided that we were going to try and show Heavenly Father our diligence by being out and working for the rest of the night. It was 8:00 when we got back to our apartment with our bags, and it normally takes 15 minutes to get to our area, so we weren't going to have much time. But we had already decided that we were going to be diligent, so we went out to teach Marco about Holy Ghost now that he's been baptized. But we got to his apartment and no one was answering.. Haha so we were pretty bummed. But we decided that we were going to go do some contacting, and as we were walking to go talk to people, we ran into an old investigator named Getsei, she isn't in our area, but she is in the Dana Point area that still attends our ward. She has been taught for 2 or 3 years now and she's 19. I've taught her a lot on exchanges and stuff, so I know her pretty well. So we got talking with her, and she told us that she had a dream that she was going to church and that she felt happy. So we told her she should probably start going to church then! Haha and she said, "Yeah, that's what I was thinking to, so, I started reading The Book of Mormon again, and I'm ready to be baptized". We went crazy. The Dana Point Elders went over to her the next day, and set a baptismal date for the 11th! Her baptismal interview is tonight and we're all super excited! It was just a huge reminder to me that The Lord has asked us to be diligent. He asks us to go the second mile because that's where the blessings are. When we are where we should be, when we should be there, The Lord can use you as an instrument. We're super excited for Getsei to be baptized! Woohoo!

Love you all! Hope you have a great week!

Con muchisimo amor,

Elder F
