This week was Sweet!!

Aloha!

This week was awesome!! We had a super great week and I went on a lot of exchanges. My first exchange was with Elder Lomwe, one of the marshallese Elders that I served around and he became on of my closest friends here. It was awesome and we worked really hard! Especially because he was going home in 2 days! It was crazy. We took him to the Airport early Thursday morning and said goodbye, it was hard, but it happens. Also, I went on an exchange with Elder Nielsen in San Clemente! It was great! We saw a lot of success and ended up bearing our testimonies to Oregon State's head basketball coach! haha Crazy things that happen. He was really nice though and we gave him a Book of Mormon and their gonna see if they can come back. In our area, we've been working a lot with the members and with their friends, I feel like we'll see some real success here soon. Elder Everett was tracting with one of the San Clemente Zone Leaders while I was on an Exchange and he found a potential family! So that was great! BUT the best thing that happened this week was that David came! It was so great to see him and spend some time with him! It automatically felt like I hadn't ever been gone! It was really weird just feeling completely normal seeing him after 20 months or so. We went out contacting in Santa Ana and he bore his testimony in Spanish a couple times! (Bien hecho), and we gave out some Books of Mormon! Then we ate some Taco Truck Tacos. They were great. We went tracting and Elder Ashton and David found a former Investigator that we've been looking for and now we're gonna start working with her. Then we visited a returning Less-active named La Naea. She's great. We were able to share our testimonies with her and David gave her a blessing to overcome her trials! It was awesome. (Otra vez, bien hecho David jaja). We found the Elote guy, taught a member that's planning on being re-baptized here soon,  and then ended the night with an authentic Mexican meal with tacos, beans, and rice! It was awesome! Totally pumped me up to keep working hard! Anyways, that's my week! Hope y'all had a good one!!!

Sometimes faith really, really, really works!!

Aloha! Yokwe! Hola! Hi and Hello.

Well, this week had some awesome miracles that were really unexpected. First, to start off, this week was Zone Conference and that made it super crazy! So, we had a lot of preparation to do and I think out of those two days, we maybe got 7 or 8 hours of sleep total. haha it was nuts. Lots of crazy stuff. BUT the craziest thing was on Wednesday Morning, President Orgill came into our office when we were getting ready for Zone Conference to tell Elder Everett that he received a call from the Mission President in the Carlsbad mission and that Elder Everett's Grandma was being baptized on Sunday!!! It was crazy. SO, a little back story on that. Elder Everett was the first member in his family. His Dad lives in Dana Point, (in the mission), and his Mom lives in Murietta California (in the Carlsbad mission) and he grandma lived in Rancho Santa Margarita, (in our mission). None of them were members when he started his mission. Last July, his Mom was baptized and he got permission to go down to Murietta to baptize her! It was awesome. And then, his grandma moved in with is Mom in Murietta and she started taking the lessons from the Missionaries and she wanted to be baptized and once again, he got permission to go down to Murietta to baptize her! Haha it was awesome! We got to drive down there yesterday and go to the baptism. It was such a cool experience. I'll send pictures of it. Elder Everett has tons of faith and it really works. And his Dad is awesome! Like seriously the nicest guy ever, he's not a member, but yeah, he's great! AND we got back in touch with Talai last night! We haven't been able to meet with him since the first time, but we finally got a hold of him last night and met with him and have another lesson for tomorrow!!! Its awesome. Anyways! I'm super excited for this week! Love you all!!

" I really hope those are fireworks!"

President Orgill, Elder Ashton, Elder Fuell, Elder Everett

Aloha!!

This week was great! Lots of stuff to do and no time to do it! So, we've just been working on those things. But the good thing is that we've been getting to our area A LOT more. Its been great! We have been working with a couple less active members and that's going great! There is one family called the Leocadio family, and we're working on setting a goal for them to be sealed in the temple! So that should be great! I would love to see them sealed before I go home. We also are still working with La Naea and she is trying to give up smoking so that she can get her temple recommend. She is getting close and we're meeting with her tonight to set some goals and follow up. We were doing a lot of contacting and tracting this week. Last night, we were in a very sketchy part of town, going to try to go by some less active members before we had to head home and it was like 8:30ish. And we start hearing some pops and bangs. And Elder Everett was like "Elders.. I really hope those are fireworks." haha I was cracking up. Elder Everett is hilarious and I like having him around a lot. A great example of faith, diligence, and being light-hearted and happy. Elder Ashton is the same way and I really am very lucky to be able to be their companions. We also had MLC this week and that went pretty good. And Zone Conference is on Wednesday and Thursday.. and then the week after that is MLC again.. and then we start the transfer process all over again. It never ends. But that's alright!! Haha I'm having a great time and I'm so thankful that I get to be serving a mission. It really is the best thing that you can do with your time! I have a testimony of that.
I hope you all have a great week!!! :)

Elder Fuell
