Crazy Week!

Hello!

So this week went different than I expected it to go! Elder Shepard returned home on Saturday, which was kind of a bummer. I'm going to miss that Elder. He was great and he'll definitely be my friend for a long time! So its just Elder Ashton and I again. He has 1 week left, So who knows what will happen to me for my last 3 weeks... But there are rumors that I might return to Spanish. :) We can only hope and pray. haha This week for people we've been working with has been kind of hit and miss. We do have a lesson tonight with a part member famliy. We taught him a bit back in December but he wasnt really interested. But he invited us over to start teaching him again, so we're excited about that! We also picked up 4 potential investigators that were playing basketball at the park! After we beat them 7 to 0, (Mercy Rule), we explained what missionaries do and they thought it was super interesting. I think we're going to go play with them again and then teach them after. It has been nice to just be a proselyting missionary for this last little bit! I've enjoyed it!

Anyways, Have a great week!

Back to Northwood!!

Hola Familia!

So, this week was great! Elder Ashton and I are still together and we are back in the Northwood Ward in the Irvine Stake! We are training Elder Shepard! Elder Shepard is great! He's a super dedicated missionary and he loves the hard work. Which is good because we are on full time bike in the heat! I like it though. I'm getting my legs back in shape and I figure that if you give everything Spiritually and emotionally, might as well give everything physically too! We had a really successful week too! We found 7 or 8 potential investigators with lots of referrals from members! So this week is going to be really busy with just following up with everyone. We're going to try and get someone committed to baptism before Elder Ashton leaves and baptized before I leave!
I really have been impressed with Elder Shepard. I think the thing that is so impressive about him is that he is willing to do whatever he is asked. He has no fear to talk with people and he always testifies of the Savior and the Atonement. Which is really important in this area because not a lot of people are Christian.. or believe in anything. Yeah, Irvine is a tough crowd. But hey, so was Ammonihah. They were eventually destroyed though... Anyways, They baptized there we can baptize here. :) Things are going great and I'm happy. I hope all is well and David arrives safely in Columbia! Hurrah for Israel!!!!!!!!

Con amor,

Elder Fuell

Transfer week!

Hola!

This week went by really fast! We were really busy with the first transfer with the new president here! Everything is turning out good though! We have been teaching Juan the new member lessons and its crazy to see ow much the gospel can change your life. He is a perfect example of someone who was prepared to receive and I'm so happy that we were able to teach him. He has been having experiences with the Holy Ghost almost everyday. I hope I can be like that when I return home. Juan is great!
On other news, Elder Ashton and I are being transferred! We are both being released as Assistants and going back to the Northwood Ward in Irvine!! And we'll be training a new missionary together! On full time bike!!! Haha its awesome. I'm SO excited for this last transfer. Elder Ashton only has 3 weeks left and I have 6, so we are planning on finishing hard in our area! Our new missionary is going to be sweet! I've had the opportunity to read his bio, So I'm super excited! Things are great!
I hope Tom had a good birthday and I hope Dave is ready to go and I'm excited to hear about his experiences!

Love you all!

Con amor,

Elder Fuell
