Aloha!
This week was awesome!! We had a super great week and I went on a lot of exchanges. My first exchange was with Elder Lomwe, one of the marshallese Elders that I served around and he became on of my closest friends here. It was awesome and we worked really hard! Especially because he was going home in 2 days! It was crazy. We took him to the Airport early Thursday morning and said goodbye, it was hard, but it happens. Also, I went on an exchange with Elder Nielsen in San Clemente! It was great! We saw a lot of success and ended up bearing our testimonies to Oregon State's head basketball coach! haha Crazy things that happen. He was really nice though and we gave him a Book of Mormon and their gonna see if they can come back. In our area, we've been working a lot with the members and with their friends, I feel like we'll see some real success here soon. Elder Everett was tracting with one of the San Clemente Zone Leaders while I was on an Exchange and he found a potential family! So that was great! BUT the best thing that happened this week was that David came! It was so great to see him and spend some time with him! It automatically felt like I hadn't ever been gone! It was really weird just feeling completely normal seeing him after 20 months or so. We went out contacting in Santa Ana and he bore his testimony in Spanish a couple times! (Bien hecho), and we gave out some Books of Mormon! Then we ate some Taco Truck Tacos. They were great. We went tracting and Elder Ashton and David found a former Investigator that we've been looking for and now we're gonna start working with her. Then we visited a returning Less-active named La Naea. She's great. We were able to share our testimonies with her and David gave her a blessing to overcome her trials! It was awesome. (Otra vez, bien hecho David jaja). We found the Elote guy, taught a member that's planning on being re-baptized here soon, and then ended the night with an authentic Mexican meal with tacos, beans, and rice! It was awesome! Totally pumped me up to keep working hard! Anyways, that's my week! Hope y'all had a good one!!!
Con amor,
Elder Fuell
