Another Great Week

Hola!

It was another great week here in Irvine! Lots of stuff to do and keep us busy! We had another Mission Leadership Council and it was great! The spirit was present and I was happy I was able to be apart of it. We did a training on Companionship study called "The Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace". Quoting Ephesians 4:3. I felt like it went good, but there are always a ton of places I could improve while presenting.. it still doesn't feel natural to me.

We also taught our progressing investigator named Farah. She is really cool. She has a baptismal date coming up but it might get moved back a couple weeks to help prepare her more. She's doing great though. She really liked The Plan of Salvation and wants to get started in Family History work! So then after she gets baptized she can do some of the temple work for her ancestors! She's gonna be a great member of the church. She always is so nice to us.

Overall, this week was great. But the weeks are going by too fast now. I wish I had more time. But, I am grateful for the time Heavenly Father has given me and for all the things he continues to bless me with. I hope you all have a great week! Love ya!

Super Great Week!

Hello Family!

This week was great! I had a lot of exchanges and we were able to spend a lot of time in the area! We set a baptismal date with a new investigator named Farah! She is currently living with a member in our ward and expressed interest in the church. We went to teach her on Wednesday and shared the Restoration with her. She loved it and committed to baptism on the 19th of March. We're really excited about that! Also, I was able to go on an Exchange with Elder Hales this week! He is a Chinese Missionary from Tuscon, AZ. He is really funny and we had a great day together! We went contacting at UC Irvine! Which can be pretty nerve racking because College Kids aren't exactly the nicest bunch.. but we had a good idea to use a Religious survey to try and talk with people because what college kid is gonna say no to taking a survey? haha well, our plan worked and we ended up finding a heap of new investigators for us and for the Chinese Elders! It was awesome! And then, Elder Ashton and I were able to go to the temple with a member in our ward named Michael Vance! He wasn't very active in the church for a lot of years, but about a year ago, the missionaries found him and worked with him for a while. He decided to quit UFC fighting and riding his motorcycles and go on a mission. He has been doing a great job! He got his mission call to the Washington D.C. North Mission and he leaves on April 13th! We went and did an Endowment Session with him and it was awesome! He will be such a good missionary. And one of the missionaries who served here a year ago came back to go through the temple with us. His name is Elder Robison. He was companions with Elder Corcus and an Assistant when I got here. So it was cool to see him again!

Overall, it was a great week! This week that is coming up is going to be a busy one with Transfers getting closer, but we're gonna try and stay as balanced as possible! Love you all! Hope you have a great week!

Zone Conference!

Hello!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! I love you!

Dallin doing a training with other missionaries- Feb2016

This week was eventful! I loved it! On Monday we taught our new investigator Rosy. She was the one who referred herself because she felt the spirit at the Hawaii temple. We felt prompted to do a Church tour and so we did one. On the tour, we taught the restoration using the pictures on the walls. I felt like it went great! We got to the Chapel at the end of the tour and we said, "Rosy, we would like to give you some time to pray about the truthfulness of our message here in the chapel. We'll give you some time to sit by yourself in prayer." She liked the idea and so did we, so she went and started to pray... and so did we! And a couple minutes later we could hear her crying. She stood up and we asked her what she was feeling. She explained that she was feeling the same feeling that she did at the temple. We told her that was The Holy Ghost testifying of the truth and we invited her to be baptized. She said yes, but she wants to know why God would want her to be baptized in THIS church. We told her that we can explain to her why! (I think she'll enjoy the Plan of Salvation lesson). She left yesterday for India for 3 weeks and then we will continue teaching her!
Also, we had Zone conference this week on Wednesday and Thursday! It was amazing. President Orgill gave one of the best trainings I've ever heard. It was called, "Agency- Inviting Forces of Light" SO GOOD! He talked about how everything we do, we either invite light, (The Spirit of God) or darkness (The adversary). I love how he teaches and the energy and the spirit that he has. It inspired me and helped me see more in myself and in the missionaries that I work with. So good. We also gave a training called Faith in our purpose. We got most of it from the talk "Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ" by Gene R. Cook. Super good talk. The training was pretty good, but man, President blew it out of the water! Hahah I can't get over how good that training was!
That was my week! It was great and there was lots to do! And Mom, I hope you have a very happy Birthday! I love you a ton!

Con muchisimo amor,

Elder Fuell
